I don't normally forward this kind of stuff, but many of the historical photos below go beyond interesting.  Like stepping into Forrest Gump's time machine - always there at the right moment, seeing people and historical moments from an angle we've never seen before.  Get a load of Einstein in heels.

Rare Historical Photos.. (Not in any particular order) Photos and descriptions that tell us what it was like to be there and, perhaps, surprise us with something we didn't know and haven't seen.   A boxing match on board the USS Oregon in 1897.
