Astrology would be a fun subject, or perhaps he could focus on a couple of stars, planets, systems which we will be looking at later in the evening. He could speak about why some celestial objects are visible only at certain times of year. Maybe he could talk about some constellations that we could try to find later, and discuss the Mythology behind them.
