Deer Loop Trail

One of the most popular trails in the preserve, Arroyo Pescadero. Deer Loop trail is a 2 mile easy loop. Arroyo Pescadero serves as a wildlife corridor that connects lands that reach from the Whittier Narrows Recreation area to the Cleveland National Forest in Orange County. One of the trails unique features a loop around a meadow that deer enjoy, Deer Loop. Deer Loop is an ideal hike for a beginner and a great jogging trail for the advanced group. The Trailhead is located at 7531 South Colima Road in Whittier just opposite the baseball diamonds at Murphy Ranch.
