Historical Hike
Details
Take a moderately strenuous 2.3 mile journey through time. The beautiful trails will take you through coastal sage scrub and native oaks. Hike while you learn about the history of the Puente Hills from the time of Juan Bautista De Anza to the modern day.
This dirt path loop is a gradual climb through cool forest and sun-baked switchbacks to 1,000- foot elevation and views of downtown Los Angeles, the coastal plains of Orange County, and the wooded community of La Habra Heights. The Hacienda Hills Trail is part of the Skyline Trail in the Puente-Chino Hills Wildlife Corridor, an unbroken chain of plant and wildlife habitat that extends about 30 miles.
Dogs Ok.
