This site is a hub where newly-awakened American citizens can:
1) purge ourselves of complacency and ignorance about our own political system, institutions, leaders, and our relationships to them and,
2) take action to defend our endangered Republic and democratic ideals, as originally described in the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights.
We're mostly (but not exclusively) PUMA democrats, the disenfranchised voters who supported Sen. Hillary Clinton during the 2008 Democratic Primary. We strive to rebirth the American democratic experiment in a new, non-partisan way.
The 2008 election process has compelled us to address three pressing needs: Women's Rights, Media Reform, and Political Reform.
