    Its really nice one......

Could have been better in terms of first speaker.
I mean, how can a person, who have not used to NodeJS extensively, can give a talk on it ?

Well its my personal opinion, no offence.

    Second talk was really nice.

    • Nilesh C.

Agree. It does not bode well when you get a response that "I haven't worked much with Node" repeatedly. Secondly, in the introductory session I would have expected more talk on "why NodeJs is faster" which I think is its main USP (among others)

Awesome but it would have been much interesting if we can get some more time to get a code walk-through properly

Sure, Jerin! I understand that, being a Node enthusiast myself. We'll focus more on Code moving forward.

After the sessions, people talked to me about Node and not about jobs .... This shows that only dedicated and satisfied people attend the meetup session :)

Helping, encouragement, appreciation are the things which are essentials for the Community Building.. That's what our goal is.. Hope you are with me on this, @Abhijit! :)

No one here is against start ups. What Nishant means is that its nice to have people who attend meetups like these purely for knowledge exchange purposes and not to promote job opportunities. Its a meetup, we all gather here to meet JS enthusiasts and learn new things so we can grow. What you do otherwise is completely your personal/professional thing. So go ahead :)

I would really like to know the ease of hosting a nodejs app (dedicated / Shared) , as the complexity and pricing of hosting wards off developers from such a great technology.
The same issue causes difficulties in convincing non-techies / clients who are accustomed to deploying apps built on aspx or php platforms. The one I am currently using is www.openshift.com

Sorry for not able to spend time on good code vs bad code. This was just to demonstrate what we already discussed in detail. You can go through the slides and I will be happy to discuss if needed.

You may not need to deal with it yourself normally as frameworks already handle it and ask you to code accordingly.

Thanks for presentation Akshay. Good/bad code is never ending topic.

I expected to get the basics on NodeJS from the session and what it can actually capable of, which were well presented by you and Yashprit in given limited time slot.

Thanks a lot to both of you for your time and efforts.

You need to come to Bavdhan, the road from Chandni chawk to Pashan Circle. On this road, Near Chandni chawk, there is a patrol pump. You need to go into the lane in front of Petrol Pump.

Seems like we have more content than time.
Starting at sharp 11:00 AM will be necessary to wind up in time.
