Taking off with Flight.js

Flight is (yet another) JavaScript web framework developed by the smart guys at Twitter and used on their own production code. It's component-based and event-driven. It's very lightweight and integrates seamlessly with your existing code — jQuery is a hard dependency, but you're probably already using it in your project anyway.

This meetup is an extension of my upcoming July 19 talk at the Deccan RubyConf (http://t.co/jY4Yyby33b). We will write a ToDo app to get a feel of the framework and maybe exchange notes on how the other popular frameworks do similar things differently.

It was very well presented including a hands-on demo. Prashant has very nice way to demonstrate things by making them quite simple...

Prashant please share the demo example code if possible. It's more familiar code to go through.. :)

All in all, Flight.js is all about events and total de-coupling.

    All set for the meetup?

This is going to be a hands-on session. Please bring along your laptops with node (http://nodejs.org/), bower (http://bower.io/) and yeoman (http://yeoman.io/) pre-installed.
