Temple Cleaning Day!

In Buddhism, cleaning is a good deed. Bet you didn't know that! It improves our mindset and creates a positive environment for us to seek true happiness. So it's all the more important to keep our Buddhist temple clean. Hang out with us as we polish brass, clean up the yard, vacuum, etc. You can choose whatever job you feel comfortable with doing. Bring music and let's get cleaning!

I liked this activity which helps us practice Buddhism in every day life. To face the dirt in our living space and take action is like facing the negativity in our own thoughts and finding a solution for them. Thank you for this hands-on learning experience of Buddhism! And it was great to meet other people with a high level of enthusiasm for a change!

In Buddhism, cleaning is very significant. In my opinion it's much more meaningful than just doing meditation. It's very much practical and at the same time, it's spiritual. It uplifts your mindset. As a matter of fact, after a thorough cleaning, I feel tremendous effect. Now the temple is clean and beautiful, please join us!
