Weekday Night Potluck Party & Lecture

Bring your favorite dish, meet new friends, and enjoy great company! We enjoy bounteous feast as everyone brings something to share. Then after cleanup, we gather for a smaller group class setting.

We listen to short translated lectures on Buddhism given by a Buddhist teacher at the temple. We also watch short clips of animated movies or video lectures from Japan to expand our knowledge. Time allowing we can ask questions during the break and at the end of the class.

Chanting service usually begins at 6:30 p.m. Newcomers are welcome to attend but this is entirely optional to each person. Please come by 6:15 p.m. if you would like to attend the chanting.
