This is our 5th meetup. Pivotal are providing beer and pizza again in addition to their excellent office space.

We have two main speakers this time:

• Malcolm Sherrington (http://uk.linkedin.com/pub/malcolm-sherrington/13/339/b1b) "Julia for Data Scientists: Exploring the Myth and the Reality." - Although relatively new, Julia is often touted as a language for data scientists, alongside Python and R. In this talk Malcolm Sherrington discusses some of the things you need to know - both good and bad - if you are considering using Julia now or in the near future.

• Javier Díez Pérez (http://uk.linkedin.com/pub/javier-d%C3%ADez-p%C3%A9rez/18/173/71b) "Python in genetic data analysis"

As usual - you're welcome to RSVP, please unRSVP in the run-up to the event if you can't make it so other community members can get a space. If you're on the wait list then also do please unRSVP if you couldn't take a last minute spot, to free the potential space for another member.
