It's never too early to start planning!
Lightning talks
This month, we're focusing on lightning talks. Share something that you know about with your fellow PyLadies!
A lightning talk is a short presentation, ten minutes or less, covering any topic in brief. For example, you can introduce a project you've been working on, tell a story about an experience you've had as a programmer, or talk about a favorite Python module that you love using. Content-wise, anything goes.
You can make a few slides to go along with your presentation, but you don't have to - just talking, using a whiteboard, or doing a code demo are all great ways to support a lightning talk.
To sign up, comment here with a topic idea, or add your name to this spreadsheet:

REMOTE MEETUPS
For November, we're trying something new - remote meetups! Here in Austin, we'll meet at our usual time and place, but we'll send out links to an online hangout so that folks in Dallas and Houston, and other parts of the state, can take part. A link to the online meetup will be sent out a few days in advance.
ETA: We've got an Eventbrite registration (free) set up for people who are not in Austin, who might want to join in without having to register with this meetup group. Feel free to pass this along to any female Python developer friends in other Texas cities:
