May Meetup at Kinetic Cafe: Newsrooms Need Developers

Hi everyone,

We're pleased to invite you to this month's PyLadies meetup on Thursday May 28 at 6:30pm at Kinetic Cafe! We have a great talk lined up, and food and drinks will be available as per usual. It's sure to be a blast! Kerry Wall (@kerrywall (http://www.twitter.com/kerrywall)) will be chatting about "Newsrooms need developers, but it's a whole other world from agencies and freelance life. Here's why."

Kerry is a front-end developer at Art & Science (http://artscience.ca/) and a graduate of HackerYou (http://hackeryou.com/)'s full-time development bootcamp. She spent six years at CBC News (http://www.cbcnews.ca), where she also got to do developer-type stuff. She's been coding since she was 13 and once had a JavaScript answer come to her in a dream. (It worked.)
