PyLadies Dublin and Craft Night at TOG

Thanks to Cheryl, we can now bring PyLadies Dublin to Craft Night. You can make something, code, or both! :-D

You can bring your own projects, and if you have a suggestion, or a call for help on your own projects, please leave a comment below.

For those who are interested, there will be some of us working on the website (Flask, APIs, etc.)

Thanks to everyone who came along! Do share what you are doing on -- I'll be checking out when we are overlapping with their craft night again and propose to have it there. In the meantime, they do have Coder Night every 2nd Thur, the next one is next week on the 28th. I have added upcoming events to the hackpad as well, if you think of events that might be of interest to folks, please share with us, I really can't keep track of them all with so much stuff going on. :-)

Thank you TOG and Crafters for sharing the creative space and for the tour. Enjoyed the meetup and great to get time and space to code.

hi Ladies, I should finally made it. It's been a few months I couldnt join you. First I was doing certificates, then going to interviews and finally got my first IT job:) Now working shifts so it's not easy to match my free time with PyLadies Meetups, but this one suits me well:)
Anyway, I haven't touch base with Python for a while, but hoping to do some reading before this event.

    1. I want to build my own photography portfolio website with blog, so need a hand to start with it.
    2. Also, I would be very much interested in scripting in Python to automate Linux/Unix servers (instead of using Bash). If there's anyone who want to join me in developing this topic, that'd be great. I found initial tutorial about bash/python scripting, but need to deepen this knowledge, apply to linux servers (eg in Virtual Box), practice and manage the connectivity via SSH.

I am not in hurry with any of these, so take your time and let me know whenever you are willing to join/help. As new starter I have plenty to read/learn in my current work, so seriously busy. I guess that if no one would be willing to do it during the even then perhaps starting from Autumn then? Anyway, I hope to see you on Tuesday.

take care, p.s.Viki, thank you for the notes from all the Meetups!
