PyLadies is crashing Votizen's sprint on Django!

Our collective goal is to make the Django tutorial better.  Fed up with walking through a Poll application?  Curious about the (relatively) new Class-based Views that isn't reflected in the tutorial?  Do you wish it provided a better explanation to concepts and points than it does now?

Come join some members of the Django community and contribute and make it better!

---

If you are male: You are welcome to join! Just please visit the Django Meetup group's website here.  Do not RSVP through this event page.  Space is limited, and I want to save room for PyLadies!

This event page is only open to women, and those who identify as being a women, on this meetup event page. Emphatically trans- & queer-friendly.

---

Thanks to the Django Software Foundation, food will be provided.  The plan is to sprint from 10am to 4pm or later, if you have the endurance.

Please be familiar with the Django tutorial, as well as some Python knowledge.

Sign up for the sprint through here: http://sfdjangosprint5.eventbrite.com/

We also have a complementary event: Learn to Contribute to Open Source!  Get a primer on how to sprint, what contributing to Django means for the community, and a big-picture point of view on Free & Open Source Software (FOSS).

Maybe it seems tedious to explain to newcomers how to contribute to Django, but having a real-time, in-person, "here's how we do it" session made me feel more welcome to the project.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
