If anyone is interested, there's a code-a-thon happening this weekend at Mashery. It's part of the Health 2.0 Conference, seeking to encourage healthy habits through apps. There's also $10k in prizes up for grabs. http://bit.ly/SYR2iW

I wish we could have spent more time chatting and mingling but I totally understand that Yelp needed to kick us out :) Great speakers!

Had a great time! My only regret is that we didn't give Lynn a big hand at the end--I could tell from the message traffic how complex this event was to assemble. Thank you also to the presenters who stepped up.

This was great! Thanks so much for putting it all together and to everyone who participated! The talks were all interesting, with stellar graphics (I'm partial to the cat ones!).

    Last notes!
    1) Doors close at 7pm today
    2) A government ID is needed to check in
    3) By 12pm today, I'll need your full name if you don't have public on meetup or if you have a +1 (email me is just fine). This is coming from Yelp security - sorry for the bother!

Do we know if the dinner will be pizza? I'm lactose intolerant so just want to be prepared! Thanks.

Is anyone going from Fremont BART or car ? Lemme know. Thanks

    October 3, 2012

    • Jamie G

I'm taking Fremont BART, but I'm not sure what time yet.

    • Meenal P.

I think I will take the BART as well. Sent you an email... perhaps we can connect.

Same here. I usually try to eat before/after the events. The SFPython meetup used to order one or two vegetable-only pizzas.

I can always talk. However, it won't be about Python. Are there acceptable alternatives?

    YHEA!!
I look forward to see you all on Wednesday!

  • Lynn R.

Looks like this event is a go! Thank you to all who have volunteered to talk; I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone!

However - I would love it if we had one more Lightning talk! Any takers?

    September 30, 2012

  • Lynn R.

IMPORTANT: As it stands, we do not have a full bill of talks, both standard and lightning. Unless we can get a few more ladies to step up, I'll need to reschedule this, probably for January.
