Hack Night

This is weekly time we set aside to work on those projects Python-related and otherwise and just happen to do them with other people. Some people are even known for bringing in projects and homework from school that is information or computer science related. If you're running into problems and Internet message boards aren't doing it for you, this night usually does help. Another option some people go for is just hanging out, which you are more than welcome to do! That is even if your idea of hanging out is working on your laptop with people around and no pressure to interact with them at all beyond a "hello."

Laptops are encouraged though Makerspace Urbana has some desktops that run Ubuntu that we can hook you up with.

The most common way to get to the Makerspace is to go to the parking lot to the side of the building that faces the Lincoln Square Mall. There is a set of stairs that goes under the building that you go down and just follow the signs to the Makerspace.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
