Details

We are back with the Show & Tell #8 and amazing insights into mood, personal development and happiness ;-)

Presentations:

Benjamin Bolland: What I learned from Emotion Tracking

Benjamin has been tracking his daily mood for a bit more than two years how. Starting with a very plain questionnaire about his daily happiness he evolved the questionnaire to a bi-daily habit of self-reflection and manual self-measurement. Benjamin will give a brief insight into this tool and talk about how he gets a better understanding of correlations between certain events in his daily routine and his mood and connection to his body.

Kristina Wilms: Mood Tracking in Therapy

Kristin is the founder of ARYA, a professional moodreflection app to support the treatment of depression. ARYA can be used to track behavior patterns (emotions, thoughts, physical feelings, underlying circumstances and their reactions) and comes with a Hero-Tool that reminds to do things that have a positive impact on ones mood. Kristin will present how the ARYA app empowers patients to become aware of their behaviour patterns and improves the communication between them and the therapist.

Antoine Larchez: Happiness Hacking

Antoine has been experimenting with cracking the happiness code and recoding his brain for 15 years. He changed himself from an introvert to extrovert and significantly increased his happiness levels. Antoine will be speaking about Happiness hacking, the art of re-programming our brains to feel even happier. His talk explores happiness research, neuroscience, coaching and QS technologies for optimizing our state of mind.

Beth Martin: Healing and Change through Quantification

A year ago, Beth experienced a life-changing event and made the decision to exit the life she’d been leading and spend 6 months focusing on healing herself physically, emotionally, and psychologically: redefining her life and quantifying her entire journey. Through written, visual and numerical quantification techniques (and a whole lot of trial and error), Beth looks at what worked for her personally, challenges she faced and reasons behind her quantification focuses, the tools she used, and at how quantifying her life for the past year lead her to make unexpected decisions that have fundamentally changed the way she experiences everything.
