Activity Monitors: Fit Bit and Beyond! - What works, what doesn't, and how you can make use of the data you haven't even extracted yet.

For our next Meetup, we will be visiting the topic of how others are utilizing an ever-growing (http://quantifiedself.com/2014/09/wrist-wearables-now/#more-9410) number of Activity Monitors to quantify their lives.

Given the ubiquity of the Activity Monitor (your sister, neighbor, and grandmother may all have one at this point), for this Meetup - we will be asking for your stories directly. Post in the comments section how you use (or stopped using) your device - and if you'd like to share in more detail at the event.

6:30-7:00 – Networking and Conversation

7:00-7:30 – Prepared “Show and Tell” Discussions on:

• Insights from Activity Monitors

• Obtaining your Data and Making Sense of It

7:30-?? – Group Discussion/Breakout Session on:

• What works/insights gained

• What doesn’t – UI/UX, Ergonomics, Data, etc.

This event will be held at the Downtown Trex startup incubator, right off the Convention Center metrolink. In the spirit of the event's topic, take a look at how drastically reddit user matei1987's activity patterns changed after graduating university and starting a "real job" via 150,000+ FitBit data points:
