- Introduction on Quantified Self
Quantified Self, Self Tracking, Living by Numbers: new practices, new devices, old questions. Clement Charles will give a short introduction on those concepts, their advancements, their possible interest, their risk and the wider potential of health 2.0. Presentation would be in English or French depending of the audience. - Kick Off Ambient Research Project
The event will also be the official of the ambient monitoring research project based on passive, permanent monitoring of both personal physical activities and local network performance, with a specific app running on Android phones. Contact us if you'd like to be part of this project - the lab is still looking for testers.

3) Presentation the Quality Of Life lab The Quality of Life (QoL) of the University of Geneva establishes quality research on mobile computing and communications systems deployed in the healthcare domain (i.e., mHealth) to deliver clinically validated services to patients, their professional and voluntary caregivers "anywhere-anytime-anyhow". Dr. Katarzyna Wac heads the lab and is the co-organized of Quantified Self Geneva.
4) Sharing, discussions and networking. Share you QS experiences, discuss with other members of the group, show demos of your own sets of app and tools. This will be very informal and friendly, and for those interested, may be continued by drinks and dinner. Tell us if you're available and interested.
Quite likely, the event is will be recorded on camera, and if possible, webcasted after the event on the general Quantified Self blog.
