Please join us for our first QS Los Angeles meetup of 2015. It will be fun evening of self-tracking presentations, tools demonstrations, and amazing conversation. We're happy to be hosted by our friends at Maker City LA (http://makercityla.com/) in downtown Los Angeles . Please RSVP early to grab your spot.

We're asking for a $5 donation for this meetup. Why? To make sure we have good food and drinks available for you. All funds go to making the meeting fun and enjoyable for you!

6:30 -7:30 pm SOCIAL TIME & DEMOS

If you have a self-tracking project, gadget, app, or idea you'd like to share or demo, but you don't want to get up and talk about it, the demo hour is perfect for you. You don't need to have a prepared talk, just let us know if you want to participate.

We save the talks for personal accounts of self-tracking and self-experimentation, rather than sales/investor pitches. But of course we are also interested in tools! If you are making something useful for self-trackers – software, hardware, web services, or data standards – please demo it in this portion of the evening.

We'll also have some light snacks and refreshments available during this social time.

7:30 pm – 8:30 pm SHOW&TELLS TALKS

If you'd like to talk about your personal self-tracking story, please let us know in your RSVP so we can discuss your topic. In your talk, you should answer the three prime questions: What did you do? How did you do it? What did you learn?

FROM THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY

Take the 101 South (Ventura Freeway) to the 110 South (Harbor Freeway) to the 10 East (Santa Monica Freeway). Take the Grand Avenue exit, proceed to Broadway. Turn right on Broadway. Pass Washington Blvd. The Reef is on the right (1933 S. Broadway). Maker City LA is on the 11th floor.

FROM THE SAN GABRIEL VALLEY/INLAND EMPIRE

Take the 10 West (Santa Monica Freeway) or the 60 West (Pomona Freeway) to the 10 West. Take the Los Angeles Street exit. Take 17th Street to Broadway. Turn left on Broadway. The Reef is at the corner of Broadway and Washington (1933 S. Broadway). Maker City LA is on the 11th floor.

FROM LONG BEACH/ORANGE COUNTY

PARKING

There are 1,126 on-site and adjacent visitor, tenant and employee parking spaces. Parking is $10.00 Monday – Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. $5.00 after 5pm. There’s also plenty of metered parking (free after 6pm)
