A writing group. An accountability group. A lamenting and rending of garments group. Every. Single. Week. And, we'd love for you to join us!

Do you need to write? Are you like me: desperately needing to write, but deluged with daily distractions that make focus nearly impossible? Or, are you one of the lucky ones who write like mad without any prodding? 

Either way, we can help. For those like me, even one night a week of writing is a great start. (I'm now writing every single day!) For you lucky ones, all that writing can be pretty isolating; joining with other wordsmiths is a very effective antidote.

After having gone to a similar, but extremely short-lived meetup group, I started a group for Script Frenzy and got more written than I ever have before: two revisions of a short stage play; an outline and 33 pages of a screenplay. Making the commitment to just show up once a week worked wonders for me.

This is a basic get-it-done group. The first half hour we introduce, review/make goals, and then we get right down to writing. There is no ending point. People generally start wandering out around 8:30, but you can stay longer if you're on a roll.

On the last Tuesday of the month, when we've finished writing, we wander over to a local constabulary to cap off a good month of productivity. Now we're about to go on our very first Quite Write Cape Cod Writer's Retreat and there's still time for you to join that, too!
