Interesting Visualizations with R

Join us for 2 or 3 short talks around different aspects of visualization with R.

Jerzy Wieczorek, a Statistician from the Census Bureau, will give a demo of some interactive graphics in R using just the basic "maps" package. For example, recoloring a choropleth map (and showing local information) in response to mouse clicks can be a useful way to explore a geographic dataset.

Still looking for one or two more presenters on unique ways to use R to visualize, preferably not ggplot (ggplot requires a whole session for itself).
