Announcing a new Meetup for RPG Chicago!
What: GM Workshop - Sandbox campaigns
When: Saturday, October 23,[masked]:00 AM
Where: (A location has not been chosen yet.)
You hear the term a lot, but what does it mean to create a sandbox campaign? This will be hands on, and by the end of the workshop, you'll have the basics of a sandbox campaign in your preferred system that you can begin running or tinker with more. This will be hands on discussion and creation, probably about 4 hours in length. Location is to TBD. Bring coffee! :)
This is edition/genre neutral. The host is familiar with D&D prior to 3.0, Traveller, GURPS, Mechwarrior, Shadowrun, VtG (1st edition) and basically most games prior to 1995. Don't let that stop you though, the concepts here will be applicable to most games and hopefully to yours as well!
