RPGChicago Update, 10/2

Hi folks,

First off, let me congratulate our September Giveaway winner:

Henri Boylan!

Henri gets his choice of one of the following:

- a pair of Midnight Syndicate soundtrack CDs.
- a Learn to Paint kit from Reaper Miniatures
- a book of riddles from Cloud Kingdom games

After Henri makes his pick, I'll announce the October giveaways (and we'll be giving away two things in October, whee!). October giveaways will be based on responses to my weekly Emails... I'll have a code word somewhere in each one. Reply to the message with the code word, and you'll get entered into the monthly giveaway.

LutherCon is this weekend, and has a variety of events available for you to participate in. I hope you can make it!

The big monthly Meetup Mashup is on Monday 10/5. Last time, we had a whopping 81 attendees! This month, we're looking at another big bash:

- The Horror group will be running a workshop on zombie makeup effects, just in time for Halloween!

- Josh K is going to run a big game of "Werewolf"

- Giveaways! A pair of passes to the Chicago Toy and Game Fair, a copy of "The Art of Guild Wars 2" signed by the artists, and gift cards to Mystic Celt.

To be eligible for the giveaways, you need to RSVP for the event and attend.

Our first GM Clinic, led by Patrick Benson, will be occurring later this month. You should hear more about it this weekend!

We've had a lot of great activity in the message boards from people trying to get events together. If anyone is interested in putting something on the calendar, just let me know. The easiest way to get an event that best fits your schedule and interests is to help organize!

That's it for now! Thanks for being a member!
