Hello Fellow Writers -- Ready to Work?

This is a sub-group of the Round Rock Writers meetup group, open only to members of RRW. Our goal is to assist each other in developing our writing using a workshop format.

The prerequisite: Anyone attending a workshop day must submit a piece of their own for review and read those to be workshopped that day. We will receive the most benefit from an active discussion among all members attending a workshop day. There is no requirement to attend all the WIPW days, just to contribute your writing and to read the pieces to be discussed on the days you do attend.

The work submission and discussion ground rules (including length of submissions) are posted on the About page (link to the left) and on the message board's Administrative section.

RSVPs will be YES or NO only to make the amount of reading more manageable. Please reply YES only when you are sure you can come and will commit to reading all submissions! Of course, life Happens: if you have to change your RSVP to NO, let us know so we can remove your piece from the list and save some time. There will be an **RSVP & upload deadline the Sunday before the workshop** so participants have time to read the material before attending the meeting. Our current limit per workshop day is 15.

The sessions will be about 2 to 2 1/2 hours, with a break about midway through. Hastings allows us to bring food in, so bring a portable lunch. It is appreciated if we buy drinks from the store (not their rule, just a nice thing to do -- and they don't offer coffee).

As with the meetings of the main group, donations will be collected to help defray the cost of the web site.
