Horizon Productions at American Underground

VR creators and enthusiasts are getting their hands on the Oculus Rift and HTC-Vive. Join us on June 13th at 6pm in the American Underground Bullpen (AU @Main) to demo, discuss, and connect with RTP’s largest VR community. We’ll be bringing the latest consumer model Oculus Rift and HTC-Vive for all to try.

Presentation: Creating Marketable VR by Horizon Productions

As VR continues to grow, the demand for it in education, medicine, and business is growing as well, which means more jobs and opportunities for people seeking to work with this new technology.

Jason McGuigan and Jason Cooper are the Creative Director and Director of Multimedia at “Horizon Productions” (http://horizonvp.com/), which has over 34 years of consumer marketing experience that they're now translating into Virtual Reality products.

The two Jasons will be discussing the business and marketing end of VR. From creating market-viable content and connecting with people who can further your career, to discovering the multitude of avenues that skills with VR can unlock- They want to help ensure that your creations get seen, adopted, and ultimately add value to their userbase.

Location: The Event will be in the Bullpen (basement floor, main room) of American Underground @Main. Doors open at 6pm.

Parking: There are several parking garages in downtown Durham. We recommend the garage at Corcoran St and Ramseur St (entrance on Corcoran St). It is on the same block as the AU @ Main and the parking is free after 7pm (even if you enter before 7pm).

Demoing: Everyone is welcome to bring their VR headsets to give demos. If you will be demoing, send us a message or comment below so we have enough tables ready.
