Description: In this session we will learn to apply the same technologies that the web pages you see on Google, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube use.

Starting with a basic web page, you will learn to look at it's code, understand what is going on, and add your own changes and enhancements to make it uniquely yours. At the end of this session you will leave with the web page you created and the toolkit we use to continue to explore and learn at home.

The project for this class will be geared towards a younger audience with simpler concepts and less typing involved. There is a separate session using this same technology targeted to older kids on the same day.

Computer requirement: This session will be taught using laptop computers. No internet connection is required, and instructions will be provided on how to remove the software we install if you so desire. If you do not have access to a laptop then please let us know when you submit your RSVP and we will try to make an arrangement for you.

Note: You must have registered for this class on the Meetup Site. Use the "Additional Guest" for any additional children. Parents do not require a registration. Please print and bring your ticket with you.

Capacity is limited. Without a registration you may not attend this session. If you do not make it in to the session immediately you will be placed on the waiting list.

A parent must be present with the child.
