GNU Screen for administration and VIM as an IDE!

Multiplexing and multitasking were alive and well long before the Graphic User Interface came about. While pundits may malign the command line as arcane, Linux admins know all too well that headless servers are not going away anytime soon (for good reason!); and the greatest invention since the printing press has to be screen multiplexers. Okay, a bit of an exaggeration, but seriously, if you are a Linux admin, plan to be an admin, or should ever need to pose as one, these tools are indispensable. Come see why!
