Saturday afternoon Meetups: 2:30 to 5:30 in Woodside, CA

  • Mar 9, 2013 · 2:30 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

We encourage everyone

to read

by Gary Renard

an excellent introduction and

wonderful overview of ACIM.

We usually begin with each Participant reading either a Workbook Lesson or any ACIM material they found particularly meaningful during the previous week.  The group discusses and gives examples of how they have demonstrated course teachings in that particular area.

For 2013 our focus is on the Manual for Teachers.  If they choose, each person reads a portion of the book and we select and discuss parts as we go along.

This is an informal setting and

all are welcome at any stage of their study.

To take full advantage of this web site, sign up by submitting your email address as your LOGIN , then select a simple password.  To view the scheduled Meetups, click on the HOME tab, then the CALENDAR tab, then CLICK the meeting date you want.

In the 7th menu above: "MORE" , under "FILES", there are two wonderful offerings:  "Ho'oponopono" and "The Wisest Man in China".  By choosing to apply either or both of these offerings, we believe you can immediately change the experience of your life for the better, no matter how great it already is.

These book sets are also highly recommended:
Journey through the Workbook of A Course in Miracles,

an 8 volume set elaborating on the 365 Workbook Lessons

...   and   ...

which contains valuable insights on the

"Manual for Teachers" and the "Clarification of Terms"

Authored by Kenneth Wapnick, Ph.D. and available from:

the Foundation for A Course in Miracles:

The Saturday Group location is approximately 11 miles from Hwy 280 and 11 miles to Coast Highway 1 in Woodside, California, in the Santa Cruz Mountains, in the unincorporated part of San Mateo County.  The route is designated a "Scenic Corridor".  The winding drive up and over the mountain top (Hwy 35/Skyline Drive, & Hwy 84/La Honda Road intersection) is bordered by huge and beautiful Redwood trees.

I truly miss seeing you all! My son is in Lacrosse season and my daughter has been home for the last week. I was going to come today and she wanted a family dinner before she left. It was nice. I will not be there next week but hopefully the following week. PJ, Rian, Alphonso, Peter, Lou, and Christine, you brighten my week and I miss you all.

If you plan to join us, please contact us in advance of Saturday because the day of our group is busy with planning parking, seating, refreshments, etc. These are also the reasons we particularly appreciate an RSVP when you know you are going to attend.

The focus this year is on "The Manual for Teachers" utilizing Dr. Wapnick's "Journey through the Manual, Clarification of Terms", a text which elaborates and offers clarification of the content, available at: - or

We are now on page 32, in Section 4 entitled " WHAT ARE THE CHARACTERISTICS OF GOD'S TEACHERS " and we will begin this week where we left off at Section 4A, The Development of Trust.

You are welcome to join us whether you are new to ACIM or a student of many years. Our group is informal and participatory so it is fun too.

There are 365 Workbook Lessons; most of us in the Saturday Group are doing 1 Workbook Lesson per day. This week we started with Lesson 62 (Sunday, March 3rd) through Lesson 69 (Saturday, March 9th). We each briefly share from any ACIM course material which was meaningful during the week. All are welcome at any stage of their study. This is an informal setting and our group is participatory. You are Welcome.
