"You," he said, "are a terribly real thing in a terribly false world, and that, I believe, is why you are in so much pain."

Radical Honesty is a group discussion for people who are tired of lies, and looking to express themselves fully and genuinely in a world where most people lie to others, and to themselves, everyday.

I started this group because I went to a Radical Honesty workshop in 2011, led by Dr. Brad Blanton, that changed my life.

Before that workshop, I thought people wouldn't love me if they knew the things I actually thought, felt, and did.

(Which is why I lied about them in the first place, as so many of us do.)

At the workshop, I realized people loved me MORE for admitting things I thought, felt, and had done, because they thought, felt, and did those things too.

The deepest connection I've ever felt came from being my truest self around others, who were also being their truest selves in front of me. The good, the bad, AND the ugly!

Radical Honesty is not about being honest all the time, although that is an easy misconception given its title.

It is a lifestyle which centers around being as honest as possible, as often as possible, for the good of the most involved... (including yourself) so that you can experience true connectedness and intimacy. True relationship.

The 3 hour Radical Honesty MeetUp sessions are designed to provide you with opportunities to EXPERIENCE rather than discuss transformation, as well as to offer conceptual and somatic tools to "take home" for use and practice toward further transformation on your own.

I plan to share what I learned at the 2011 workshop with all of you, so your lives can change as you see fit. I am a co-learner, facilitator of the sessions, and a candidate for the Radical Honesty Trainers program.

Welcome to the group!

Our sessions will include:

1. Exercises that separate thoughts from reality

2. Exercises that enhance body awareness

3. Meditation and/or Informal Yoga (optional)

4. One-on-one and group intimacy building

5. Completion work (inside and outside of sessions)

6. Vocabulary replacement (changing the way we talk to each other and ourselves)

7. Emotional expressions of every variety (tears, yelling, cursing, laughing - the works)

8. Group participation (I can't do it without you guys!) Come be yourself with us :)

Watch yourself and those around you transform.
