Radical Optimism is a philosophy that argues for looking at the good in every part of life, based on reason and evidence. If you're sad, angry, or depressed, even for a moment, Radical Optimism questions why you feel this way and helps find positive sides, on topics such as emotions (e.g. anger, happiness, regret, envy, emptiness), human society (e.g. general welfare, education, work, poverty, food, violence, medicine, energy), relationships (e.g. friends, love, loneliness, family), the environment (e.g. climate change, pollution, fracking, trash), death, and more. This meetup is about talking with each other about what bothers us to see if we can find optimistic perspectives. For more information, see the website at http://radicaloptimism.org/
