Triangle Anime started years ago with a focus solely on Anime, but our members enjoy a wide variety of Geek topics, including but not limited to:

- Board Games
- Video Games
- Roleplaying
Even if Anime may not be your thing, join us and meet fellow fans in the Triangle: Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, and the surrounding area! Come to a local meetup for fun, friends, and to talk about your favorite geek topics.
We have events ranging from:
Low key meets at public coffee shops or restaurants
to
TV Show/Movie viewings, potlucks, and cookouts held at members' residences
Meetup.com's Terms of Service require that members be at least 18 years old - and for legal purposes we require all members to be at least 21. We have members in college, the work force, and into middle age - everyone is welcome. We also require all members use their real first name and have a photo of themselves on their application so that we know who we are meeting!
There is a Discord server available once you join the group. This is used for chat on all topics and to organize ad hoc events. We ask that anyone who joins the discord use the nickname option (go to Edit Server Profile) to set their name on just this server to First Name and Last Initial or close approximation. Note this does not change your Discord name or how you display on other servers!
