Join Gay for Good for their January Service Project at TREE PEOPLE!

START THE NEW YEAR OFF RIGHT WITH A G4G/TREEPEOPLE SERVICE PROJECT!

DATE: Saturday, Jan. 21st, 9am-1pm

WHERE: TreePeople headquarters in Coldwater Canyon & Santa Monica Mts sites.

WHAT: Approximately 80 volunteers will participate in interactive hands-on workshops at the TreePeople campus and gain skills on gardening, landscaping and environmental outreach. A separate group of 20 volunteers will participate in tree planting and restoration at a Santa Monica mts. site simultaneously. If you want to join this specific group, send an email to gayforgoodla@gmail.com with an rsvp ‘yes tree planting’. Otherwise, just confirm your participation on the G4G site and you’ll receive a confirmation message with all event details the week before.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION- You will need to officially RSVP on the Gay for Good site at www.gayforgood.org (http://www.gayforgood.org/). If you are not already a member you can set up a simple profile on the site and then sign up on the Los Angeles link for the January service project at Tree People. Space is limited for this project so rsvp on G4G site right away to reserve you space!

I will be participating in the interactive workshops, however, if you want to do the tree planting feel free to join that "specific group" by sending an email to the G4G LA gmail listed above. We can all meet up after the service project and enjoy lunch together on site. Bring a few $$$ for the food truck or feel free to pack a lunch.
