Announcing a new Kindness Activity for Random Acts of Kindness Club of Arlington Heights!
Call to Action: Oil Spill
When: Tuesday, June 15, 2010 7:00 AM
Where: E-mail from your home or office
We are leaving for New Orleans tomorrow morning for a professional conference and while we are there we will be meeting with an employee of BP.
We are asking members of our Random Acts of Kindness Club to send me (Deborah Nelson) an e-mail TODAY describing your concerns over the human and animal tragedies resulting from the oil spill, the damage to the environment, the economic losses hurting American workers and families, and any ideas or suggestions.
Email me from our home page or this notification. We will share our feedback with BP and others. Depending on response maybe we'll do a press release to the media or something. Just trying to find a way to make a difference.
There don't seem to be any opportunities, at least that we could find, to help hands-on while we're in New Orleans. If anyone wants to share any other ideas, please make a comment to this notification.
