Do you like to plan events? Are you interested in making a difference for those who have a devastating illness? Join The ALS Association Rocky Mountain Chapter on Monday, February 20th at 6:00pm at Forest Room 5 in the Highlands to learn about serving on the Walk to Defeat ALS Committee. The ALS Association Rocky Mountain Chapter provides services to people who have Lou Gehrig's Disease, a fatal neuromuscular disease that affects mobility. The Walk to Defeat ALS is The ALS Association's largest annual fundraiser and they need your help to plan this crucial event and make it a success. There are two Walk events, one in Fort Collins and one in Denver, both scheduled in September of 2012. The Walk to Defeat ALS Committee will plan both events. The specific areas of the event to help with are: Logistics Food and Beverage Entertainment Media and Publicity Team Outreach Enthusiastic, dedicated, and creative volunteers are needed!
