Do you have a rare disease? A rare condition? Do you feel alone and frustrated because you think you're the only one going through it? Well guess what? You're NOT alone. =) This group is to bring people with rare conditions together for moral support and social events. Medical students and other people that want to help are welcome. Unfortunately, the funding for scientific research for rare conditions is neglected and our government isn't helping much to care about this problem. It makes me sad and frustrated that I know people that tell me their doctors don't know whats the problem. So its up to us to step up and take action. Wouldn't you say so? Our goals for this group: Social events and hopefully a fundraiser in the future to help find a solution.
