8:00pm | 2020 Connected Homes
How television, tablets, phones, printers, intercoms… and all connected devices can exchange information in order to deliver more advanced and context-aware services? Beyond the Internet of Things, can you imagine the "service of things "?
Today's connected home is fragmented. Diverse networks, multiple platforms, technologies and ecosystems, a plethora of devices and in and out of home access to different clouds lead to complexity rather than simplicity.
Tomorrow’s revolution will be to connect and synchronize these devices all together to enable the coolest usecases.
8:30 pm | Livecode: How to make a smartphone communicate with a Set-top Box in 30 minutes?
After the theory, a bit of practice. Participants will see how to get up and running and use basic apps using amongst others mobile devices. Technicolor team will give the candidates the key to use QEO SDK (Android, C/C++ and Javascript) and to integrate QEO to a Raspberry Pi.
QEO is a software framework that unleashes the potential of the Internet of Things. Acting as a universal language, it enables a full interoperability between ecosystems, applications and devices of all brands.
9:00 pm | Bridge demo
Technicolor teams will present some hardware + app examples, such as “My Home Butler” or a connected car.
