Raspberry Jam Kick-Off

Come help us kick off the first Toronto Raspberry Jam!  Chris Tyler will be talking about the Raspberry Pi Fedora Remix he's been working on at Seneca.

Meet up at the ThingTank Lab for Chris' talk. Afterwords we'll head over to Sneaky Dee's for some drinks and discussion.

Seating is limited at the ThingTank Lab, but please feel free to meet up with us at Sneaky Dee's if you don't sign up on time. I'd really like to hear some feedback from people on what you'd like to see this meetup turn into moving forward. Show and tell + a hackathon/office hours type thing? Please come let your voice be heard.

Cheers,

Geoff

    We're off to great start. Many thanks to Chris for sharing the insights he's gained while working on the Fedora Remix project. We'll have another one soon!

    An excellent presentation and lots of behind the scenes information from Chris.

    I think the idea of showing the working system and providing some insights into its evolution was the perfect agenda for the first jam.

    A big thank you to Geoff for setting this up. Looking forward already to the next meetup.

    Excellent meeting. Many thanks to Geoff for getting it going and to Chris for his informative presentation. Lots of interest and interaction. I rather regret bailing before the 'Pi and a Pint' part of the evening. TTC next time.

    Hi Bob,

    We're going to be composing the beta release of the F17 remix next week -- so we won't have it ready much before the talk. I'll post links as soon as it's in useful shape.

    Hey Chris;

    Any chance of you sharing a link to the latest Raspberry Pi Fedora Remix download (the links I try seem to be not up to date) so we can play with it before your presentation.

    Regards,
    Bob
