Decorate a float for Flag Day - with repurposed materials

Joint the 15 folks from the Hudson Teen Theater Program who are coming here to build a sandwich sign (for advertising their program) or two and make decorations out of repurposed items for their Flag Day parade car. If you love to repurpose, like decorating things and having fun or if you just want to participate and learn how to make eco-friendly advertising you should come. Also, if you have a float for the parade (or a float is your every day vehicle) and you want to decorate it, you should definitely come too! We'll be making a sandwich sign (or two), bunting and whatever else we can think of. Bring your own discarded items, your ideas, anything you want to transform, any tools you like (if you have a saw or drill, any power tool you like to use), bright colored, leftover latex paint or art paints, fabric remnants... We'll have ReStore materials available from our free pile (or for purchase from the store), extension cords, some tools, ideas, a tent, (in case of rain) and great ideas.
