Getting Started with React

A hands on presentation about
getting started with React, a next generation UI library.

If you’re using jQuery or vanilla javascript for your web ui, consider React.

What we'll cover:
Introduce basic concepts to new React developers
Introduce necessary ecosystem components such as JSX, Babel, and Webpack

What you'll need (strongly encouraged, but optional):

Your own laptop
The ability to run a VM (VirtualBox or VMWare) - COMING SOON - or a node 4.x+ development environment including editor. Please install before the event to avoid being behind during the presentation.
