Abstract: The story of an agile tester
We all know that being agile enables teams to see a spikes in productivity, deliver better products, fast and be happier and more engaged with their job. Everyone would signup for that! Most of the times, when teams and organisations embark in their agile journey they forget to read the small print: change in mindset, team-focused, high collaboration. More often than not, teams are caught in a scrumfall that is frustrating, slow and soul-sucking. This talk is the tale of an agile tester, the downfalls, the pain and the triumph of an agile team.

Stephen Janaway: "Mobile Testing - That's Just a Smaller Screen, Right?"

Hi, I'm Stephen Janaway. I've been involved with software testing for a little over 12 years, starting as a Test Engineer and then working in various Test Management roles for a variety of companies. Currently I'm a Test Manager focusing on mobile, and test automation, with a sideline in DevOps. Previously I've worked for three of the major mobile device manufacturers, as well as advising a number of mobile application developers on test and release strategies.

Abstract: Smartphone usage has greatly increased over recent years and most companies are moving into the mobile space. If you think testing on mobile is the same as on the desktop then think again - here I will present an introduction to mobile testing, explain why mobile is different, and give some hints and tips to help your ensure your mobile test strategy is a success.
