A Real Love group is for anyone interested in being happier and willing to learn. It’s based on the truth that real love is caring about the happiness of another without any thought for what we might get for ourselves. We've all heard of “unconditional love,” but few of us really understand it, so the consistent practice of it is nearly nonexistent. Yet it is as essential to our happiness as air, water and food are to our bodies. Lack of it is the reason most relationships fail, and the reason so many of us spend our lives madly pursuing things that don’t really make us happy.
Here's a short intro video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPKLJJYE3Bk
Here you will learn exactly what love is, what it isn't, and what people pursue and how they behave when they don't have enough of it. And once you understand this, you’ll never look at yourself or others the same way again.
The principles are simple (click on the Pages tab above to read more about them), so you don't need to be smart to get it. You just need the guts to tell the truth about yourself, especially the things you'd rather hide, because only when we feel seen and accepted for WHO WE REALLY ARE, warts and all, can we feel truly loved.
At our meetings, we gather together to practice giving and receiving unconditional love while learning practical ways to improve all of our relationships. No prior experience or level of participation is necessary, although reading the book "Real Love" by Dr. Greg Baer is highly recommended. This is not a professional counseling group and there are no fees.
Please note that this is NOT a dating meetup. This is a place to be vulnerable, safe and free of the distractions of people trying to pick up women or men. That said, the more you learn about love and receive it from non-romantic sources, the more able you will be to have a truly loving romantic relationship.
I just moved back from Phoenix where there is a large Real Love community, and I've been hosting weekly groups for over 2 years now. I'm really looking forward to doing so here as soon as I find a venue that is available every week. If you have or know of a place, please get in touch. Chairs and privacy are about all we need. Couches are even better.
But you don't have to wait for a meetup; you can start experiencing Real Love via free conference calls given daily by our Real Love coaches. See here for info, schedules and instructions: http://reallove.com/conference-calls/Or you can call me - Tom Harry - any time at 480-349-6681.
