[S. Austin] Werewolves of the Dark Arts, July 7th

Be sure and check the full event page to see everything that's happening over the next few months: https://www.facebook.com/WerewolfDarkArts/events

Werewolves of the Dark Arts is a variant of the social party game 'Mafia'. You'll get a card and it will have an identity on it. You know yours, but not anyone else's. Your goal is either to eliminate the Werewolves, or stay alive / help the Werewolves stay alive until they can take the village by force.

I, Tobias Amaranth, am the creator of this version of the game, and if you'd like to learn more, please visit http://werewolfdarkarts.com/ for more information on the game. This is recommended for those who are unfamiliar with the Mafia genre.

Werewolf is a great social experience, a fun way to meet new people, and even to improve your social skills by better understanding how to read other people.

For this event, we are being hosted by Whose Turn Is It Games. We meet up in the secondary gaming space, accessed from the main store. We will be the group using a circle of chairs. Please try and arrive as early as possible, but if you don't mind waiting a bit to join the next round, you can arrive at any point. Typical first games start at 6:45-7:00, or at 12-15 people. Depending on the size of a group, a round can last an hour or more.

There may or may not be an overflow game. But if you show up late where a game is in progress, or if you die early and have no interest in watching the outcome of the round, we will at least try to keep you entertained.

Thanks, everyone. A total of 20 showed up, and things were very pleasant. Lots of fun. Missed it. :)

Hey folks! Just a couple things to mention. We do ask that emotions be kept under control and volume down. This game is not about who yells the loudest or who can talk the loudest. The space is shared with people not participating in werewolf. Also, please be respectful towards Tobias, each other, and the other people gaming in the room. If the event is too rowdy we will end it earlier.
