About the Workshop In this workshop Jenn will teach you how to design moderated and unmoderated usability tests and user interviews, recruit test participants, interview customers (by asking all the right questions), and analyze and share results that really get noticed and read.
We’ll also look into running tests on mobile devices with new usability testing apps and DIY methods.
Bring your laptops and thoughts on some sites that bug you, whether it’s a site you work on, or one you visit.

Few people know MailChimp (http://mailchimp.com)'s users better than Jenn Downs, who started off as the company's first customer support specialist in 2007 and has since created and shaped the MailChimp Usability Lab. Seeing and resolving user frustration first-hand fueled her passion for user experience and helped to hone her "punk rock usability" style. Lately, Jenn has been focusing most of her attention on the improving the MailChimp app, mobile testing, content testing, and coming up with solid, practical ways for other people to do usability testing as well.
Outside of being a web nerd Jenn sings and plays lots of instruments and has a music themed podcast called This is the Sound.
