PREPROCESS ALL THE THINGS!

Writing CSS isn’t inherently difficult, but it could be much more efficient to author. In this talk, I’ll introduce you to the wonderful world of pre-processing with LESS and Sass. We’ll work through a sample project, where you’ll learn how to write your own mixins, use variables, and more. (And fear not, getting started is easier than you ever imagined.)

About the Speaker
Chris Harrison is an Augusta-based, front-end developer for Morris Communications. He runs RefreshAugusta, is a co-founder of TheClubhou.se, organized Web Afternoon Augusta, and live tweets for several conferences in the Southeast. He's also an Adobe Community Professional. He made his first website in 1996 and has never looked back. When he's not on the computer, he's spending time with his wife and two kids, participating in 5Ks, or helping out non-profit endeavors like the Jingle Jam 10K.
