We study, read, and talk about healthy relationships. Instead of going to therapy after a relationship is in trouble, learn skills before things get hard. Discover the ideal qualities and how to develop them. We teach each other.

Relationships are a vital part of our lives. Therapists address difficulties, and countless books have been written about it. This Meetup will teach all about the nature of good relationships. We will read and discuss what is involved in creating a relationship, and then repairing and maintaining it. We will discuss the obstacles that prevent people from accessing what they need and want. We will talk about how to remove those obstacles, and how to work around them before they are removed.

I am a psychologist, specializing in sexuality and relationships for many years, and I have read many valuable books that I can introduce for discussion. I have written 6 books and am now writing a book on starting new relationships.

We will not be engaged in psychotherapy. We will be learning and discussing.

Lets find out what happens when inquisitive minds come together to integrate and expand on the vast amount of information about this area of humanness!

If you've been dating, and don't understand why new relationships don't take off.

If partners end your relationship but you don't understand their explanations.

If you just get sick of the person and want out - over and over.

If you pick the same kind of person, and once again see that it was a mistake.

If you fantasize about the perfect partner, and then find fault with the one you are with.

If you can see the problems, but just can't figure out what to do about them.

If love makes you clingy and dependent, unable to live the rest of your life fully.

if sex seems too important - or too unimportant.

And many other experiences such as these.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
