Rosie the Restarter - womens workshop #1

We're offering our first workshop for women by women, to boost our confidence, share skills and together get more involved in electronics repair. (This workshop is also open to anybody who has a non-binary gender identity, along the lines of London Bike Kitchen's WaG nights.)

The workshop is designed to be a "warm-up", will run like this. There are no experts here, please bring your skills and be prepared to learn and help others.

• intro and welcome

• electrical "warm-up"

• learn to change iPhone batteries

• free form repair and bodging, bring broken gadgets

**We need to limit participation to 15, so please cancel if you cannot come to make space for others. Additionally, PLEASE advise if you are going to be late (you will need to ring us)**

Thanks to Janet & Ugo for a super warm welcome and for their generous spirit! Enjoyed the tinkering, and practical tip sharing - and now after 3 attempts I think i'll be able to restart my dead phone….. see you again soon!

Thanks Harriet, lucky that Ugo met you in Manchester. Let's see if we can spark some Restarting on the other end of the Victoria line too!

Thanks everybody for a really great atmosphere, I was a little nervous about the first one, but you made it an excellent event. Left feeling really inspired and ready for more. See you in June!

I would really like to come along to this but I can see you've reached 15 already and I'm also not sure I could get there before 7pm. Is there a plan to hold this again?

    Hi everyone,
I'm really sorry, but I've just realized that today I've got so much extra work to do that I won't be able to leave the office before 7 or later. So too late to join you. I hope it's not too late to get someone else in. I'm really sorry and I look forward to the next event.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
