Havering Restart Party

We're happy to be back at Hornchurch Library to launch a new series of Restart Parties in East London! We're looking for new volunteers in the area to host events and share repair skills, so come along and get in touch if you'd like to get involved!

At a Restart Party you can learn how to find faults and get help to fix your small electricals and electronics with experienced repair coaches. We can help you with things like slow or damaged laptops, kettles, headphones, printers, toasters, radios and many other small and portable devices. Just bring your misbehaving item and your enthusiasm to collaboratively troubleshoot and fix – no previous experience is necessary!

You take responsibility for your own gadget and data, so back it up to be safe.

Don’t forget your charger or power supply.It’s first come, first served so come early to avoid disappointment.

Restart Parties are community events and all about sharing. We'll provide tea, coffee and simple refreshments, but we encourage you to bring food and snacks to share with other participants

Transport: the library is in walking distance of Emerson Park Overground Station. If you're coming by tube on the District Line, get off at Hornchurch and hop on the 256 bus
