WMR Ride Like A Girl Bike Hash

A typical bike hash involves one or two members (Hares) leaving the start point with a fifteen minute lead. The hares throw marks of flour for the pack to follow. The object is to catch the hares before they reach the end, where you will find beer and (usually) food! Trails vary from 10 to 20 miles; longer when it’s flat and/or cool, shorter when it’s hilly and/or hot. We may plan one beer check at the mid-point of the trail, usually at a bar but sometimes at a hare’s house (if the latter, the beer’s on the hare). A Mountain Bike is preferred!
Everyone welcome even men! haha! (over 21 please).
All women riders who catch the hares before they reach the end will receive a free beer and a trophy from WMR. Everything is BYO. There’s no fee to go on a bash. You bring money for beer checks and food! Bashers are also expected, of course, to BYO spare tubes, water, tire pumps, helmets, bug spray, and phone. There will be a sign in sheet at the beginning and at the after party to make sure no one is dropped and everyone is accounted for.

LIghts are mandatory from September 15 to April 1. At least 800 lumens is recommended!
