I am a Junior Information Architect for ICF Interactive looking to further my knowledge and skills in the user experience field.
I've always had a knack for design and the arts and am intrigued by the workings of the human mind. I started my college career in pre-dentistry thinking I wanted to become an orthodontist. However, after taking a few psychology and sociology classes I began to reconsider. I switched my major to Psychology due to my pure fascination of it. It wasn't until my sophomore year that I found out about the University's School of Media Arts and Design. It allowed me to apply my artistic abilities as well as how to learn to design to better user experience, whether it be print or digital media. I applied and was accepted and the rest is history. The digital world holistically is truly what inspired me. The way that people interact with technology and their dependency on it shows how important the user experience really is.
I am a recent graduate of James Madison University with a B.A. in Media Arts and Design: Concentration - converged media, and a minor in Geography. I was born and raised in Richmond and love the city and all it has to offer.
